Local Pick-up and Delivery Policy

Clients choosing to pick up their order from Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more are responsible for the handling, safe-transport, and care of their furniture including loading and unloading, the packing/wrapping of the product, as well as any necessary assembly or disassembly. Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more assumes no responsibility for any injuries sustained or damage done to a product while being picked up by a client. It is the responsibility of the customer to bring the necessary man-power to load the furniture into their vehicles.  However, assistance will be offered to plastic wrap, load and secure your furniture order.

If a customer picks up an order(s), it is the responsibility of the customer to thoroughly inspect all the furniture on the order(s) before loading the furniture. All furniture will be assembled upon arrival in order to show and instruct the customer of the set up process.  When the order leaves Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more, it is assumed that the piece of furniture was received in good condition.  

If a customer elects to pick-up an order and subsequently notices a defect in workmanship with a piece of furniture which requires transportation back to Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more, it is the responsibility of the customer to bring it back in good condition.

At this time, Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more does not offer delivery services beyond a 300 km radius outside of Edmonton Alberta.

Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more will provide delivery and set-up services for an additional charge.  This service can be purchased as an Add-on feature as shown in our Catalogue.  A delivery date will be set by Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more once your order is complete, and in which the delivery date will be set according to the earliest convenient day and time of those providing the delivery and set-up service. When a delivery time is set, the customer will have flexibility to allow for delays. 

Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more will do its utmost to ensure safe handling and transport of its product but cannot be responsible for damages incurred within a client’s home. This is the risk assumed by the customer when purchasing our delivery and set-up services.  It is not the responsibility of Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more to move any homeowners possessions. All possessions must be moved out of the way before the delivery begins, this includes, all furniture is removed from the room where the new furniture is to be set up, a cleared pathway and/or driveway, as well as a cleared direct path to the room where the furniture is to be set-up. Vehicles must be moved off driveways and/or street access.  We will not move furniture across roadways or around vehicles risking damage to the furniture or vehicles that are in the way. 

Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more is not responsible if the furniture does not fit inside the house. It is the responsibility of the client to measure in advance and ensure that everything will fit. Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more can provide our advice on weather an item can fit, but it is still the clients responsibility. Black Rabbit Custom Bedrooms- and more is to be paid in full even if the furniture does not fit inside the house or room.

Final payment is due prior to our team leaving your home after your new furniture has been set-up and inspected.
